2008 Trampoline and Tumbling Junior Olympic Championships in Kansas City July 1st - 6th

Athletes across America traveled to Kansas City, MO to compete for the coveted national title in Trampoline, Tumbling an Double Mini.  Amongst these gymnasts were 18 AWTT athletes of varying ages and levels. As in the past, the AWTT team was able to prove its strength with its finishes.  Some gymnasts went up against 45 or more children in their division and still came out strong.  Fifteen of the 18 gymnasts from AWTT placed in the top 10 in the nation in one or more events.  Of these fifteen, 10 placed in the top 3.  This is an outstanding achievement and all are to be congratulated on their efforts.  Below is a complete set of results.

Diamond Jackson:       2nd level 8 tumbling, 14th level 6 trampoline

Miranda Kerr:             3rd level 10 tumbling, Regional Allstar

Taylor Rheker:            15th level 6 tumbling, 2nd level 6 double mini

Aubrianna Salas:         2nd level 8 tumbling

Leeza Simonyan:         3rd level 9 tumbling

Cassandra Skinner:     10th level 10 tumbling, 5th level 8 trampoline, 5th level 8 double mini

Nataliya Skinner:        18th level 5 tumbling, 3rd level 5 trampoline, 39th level 6 double mini

Olivia Toman:             18th level 5 tumbling

Lauren Tucci Howey: 5th level 6 trampoline, 4th level 8 double mini

Erica Wiesman:           2nd level 10 tumbling
